What Sorppa does
Prices for car products differ by tens of euros from shop to shop and week to week, and the same oil or carrier comes in all kinds of sizes and versions. Sorppa puts the prices side by side. Every product has one page with all its versions, each with its own EAN code or the manufacturer’s part number.
A price belongs to exactly one version: we never compare a 5-litre can of oil with a 4-litre one, or a 400-litre roof box with a 480-litre one. Whether something fits your car, we only show when the manufacturer says so (make, model and year, or a part number). We don’t show used or refurbished products. We only show shop prices once we have checked them for the exact version; if the version isn’t clear, we show no price instead of guessing.
Independent
Sorppa doesn’t sell anything and isn’t affiliated with the brands on this site. We use brand names to describe what is in the catalogue, not to suggest a partnership.
If Sorppa later earns money from links to shops or from advertising, this will be stated clearly next to the link or placement concerned. The order of products and prices is not for sale.
Not a test lab
We don’t test products ourselves. We show what the manufacturer states, such as volume, viscosity and approvals, load capacity, dimensions and part numbers. If something only fits certain cars, we say so as the manufacturer gives it; if we aren’t sure, we leave it out. Always check a part against your licence plate or part number at the shop.
